Jumping the gun

I know I know I know it's way early in this pregnancy to look at names BUT Lil didn't have a name until she was several hours old (Sorry aunt beth!) So we have actually started hashing out the name game.

Top girl pick (I actually think this is pretty certain) Stella Ann (Stella cause we like it and Ann is mine and Mom's middle names) We also really really like Abby. Not Abigail just Abby.

Boy: Ummm not sure but it's middle name will be Travis. We like Nathaniel, Heath, Hayden, and Levi. (We also like Morgan but we're afraid people will call it girly) Lilly was going to be a Brooks Travis had she been a boy after my mom's maiden name, but now Colin's middle name is Brooks so we won't be using that.

Travis very favorite boy name is Kix. Yes like the cereal, no I am not kidding. The man fought tooth and nail to name Noah Kix. He's starting all over again. Can't you just see our holiday cards...Love, Travis, Jessica, Noah, Lilly Grace & Kix. I think not. Sorry babe. Please dear friends...if for some reason I am unable to tell the nurses what I want this child to be named...for pete's sake...somebody stop Travis from naming this baby Kix.

And another funny thing about baby names...I have yet to ever (for any of my children) to be able to suggest a name that my Dad likes. I think this is hilarious. He can't tell me any names he does like just that he doesn't like anything I suggest. I got over it, and proceeded to name them without Dad's approval!

Okay, I am laughing so hard right now. Kix? Sorry for laughing Travis, but it was just too funny picturing the Christmas card signed...Noah, Lilly, and Kix :). Good luck picking a name out. This naming thing is hard!!

You make me laugh...well, actually Travis does! I love Stella, and I also like the boy names. I think I'm partial to Heath or Hayden. So excited that another Parsley baby is on its way!

The name game is the hardest!!! Good luck with that. We spent more time calling off names and saying how someone would make fun of the kid than we did being productive. I really like the suggestions you have listed so far!

Ok...I am just glad to know you couldn't please people with names either! Annleigh was SO HARD TO CHOOSE A NAME FOR! I was over half way through my pregnancy before we discussed names in our hosue! My dad never had an opinion...but my mom...(God love her)hated everything I liked, and I hated everything she liked............ (Isn't that ironic?) Anyways, somehow Annleigh stole all of our hearts, with a little convincing on mom's part! :-) JD really liked some interesting names, but I don't want to post...incase someone actually named their kid that! ha ha! I am in need of a picture appointment. I will try to email you!

I am with Alicia - the word timeless comes to mind for Stella : ) I heart it!

Now for the boy - how 'bout the name Cannon? Okay, I know it's strange but I was all geared up for Sawyer, Griffin and Cannon. Everyone at my house thought it was stupid : ) No, I'm not seriously suggesting it to you but it does beat Kix!

I love...love Stella! Precious! Hannah Claire would have been Hayden Joseph if she had been a boy! Still mine and Kyle's all time fav name for a boy! Still not sure that we will ever need to use it though??? Kyle thinks Hallie, Hannah, and Hayden sound awful good together, but I am still not convinced. So happy for you guys, and can't wait to meet baby #3!
